The Suffragan Bishop of Dorking, the Right Revd Jo Bailey Wells, will be presiding and preaching at our 9:30am and 11:15am Sunday services on 17th February. Do come and join us as we worship together.
The next Gardening Day is Saturday February 9th from 9am-12 noon. Everyone is welcome as always, but in February we especially need help with the annual muck-spreading work. Please do come along. - Mary
Churches Together in the Dittons have organised a visit toSt Albans Cathedral on 6th June. The coach will leave Thames Ditton at 9:15am, there will be a guided tour of the Cathedral and lunch, and we leave at 3pm to be back in Thames Ditton for 4:30pm. Cost is £31 (coach, tour and lunch included). Sign-up nearer the time.
New singers are most welcome to join the choir, especially men to sing SATB settings of hymns and anthems. Just come along to choir practice on Thursday evenings (7pm in church). Thank you. Reuben
Please bring any unwanted good quality items (ideally which cost £50+ when new) into the Office by the end of January and I will sell them on eBay to raise church funds. A few notes to consider: electrical items MUST be in full working order, and no printers please. Clothing should be nearly new, designer label or luxury fabric (eg: silk or cashmere). Absolutely no bric a brac, crockery or cutlery please. - Amanda

Thank you to those who have supported our ‘Reverse Advent Calendar’ initiative. Please bring completed reverse calendars to the Office, and we will donate it to the Elmbridge Food bank and Joel Homeless shelter.
As we start to put away the Christmas decorations why not take a moment to consider (again) why Jesus came? What do you understand when you hear that Jesus came to make us right with God? Why is that ‘good news’? If you have questions why not have chat over a drink with me (Sarb)? Don’t let 2019 slip away without getting the answers to your questions – what do you have to lose?
