There are several friendly groups where we meet and enjoy parish fellowship.

BIBLE STUDY GROUPS

There is a guided study group led by Andrew and Sarb which meets on a Tuesday at 11:30 in the Smee Room (Church Hall). The study follows the Sunday morning sermon series. There is also an informal ecumenical group which meets at 10:30 in the Smee Room on the second and fourth Thursdays in the month. Everyone is most welcome to turn up and join in.

In addition there are three home groups that meet. If you are interested in joining a home group, please discuss with the vicar or curate.

LUNCH ON TUESDAYS

This is a weekly event which runs 12:30 to 14:00 in term-time in the Church Hall. Lunch consists of soup, salad and dessert and is provided by a team of regular helpers. The lunch is a great opportunity for regular members of the congregation to meet informally outside the normal pattern of services. It is also an opportunity to welcome others to the life of St Nicholas’. The lunch itself is amazingly good value and always very tasty!

On the first Tuesday of the month, we meet in the Ye Olde Swan.

THURSDAY MORNING PARENT AND TODDLER GROUP

St Nicholas' Parent and Toddler Group meets on Thursday mornings from 9.30 to 11.30 during term time in the Church Hall. Mums, Dads, grandparents, carers are all welcome. There is an array of toys for the children to play with, a drawing table, Duplo and a book corner. The children play for an hour and a half, then we tidy up and finish the morning off with nursery rhymes. Coffee, tea, juice and biscuits are served throughout the morning for a small charge. We welcome everybody to come and meet up with friends and to make new ones.
