The Kneelers

Many thanks to the hard working team who cleaned and checked the kneelers; I have been left with a few needing repair.

I have been involved with the kneeler project since its inception in 1979, so it is high time I retired. I sincerely hope that someone will take over and preserve them. With grateful thanks to all those who have been involved over the years. Mavis Kerr

On behalf of the parish, may I echo Mavis’ thanks to the team who have worked so hard on the kneelers. I would also like to add our grateful thanks to Mavis herself for all her work over the past 29 years!  John Silk

New Servers

Thank you for the response to our appeal for more servers. I am delighted that 5 people have come forward and will hopefully take up duties in the autumn.

Servers are reminded that the new rotas are at the back of the church for collection. Thank you.  Roger Cowdery

Christian Aid Week

This year, our parish raised £2,466, up from approx £2,289 last year. Well done and thanks you to everyone who donated time and/or money, on behalf of Christian Aid and all their beneficiaries

Gift Aid/Church Giving at St Nicholas

If you are a visitor or church member who does not belong to our freewill offering scheme and are a taxpayer, it would help us enormously if you could you put your gift to our church in one of the white envelopes found on the pews. Please make sure your full name and address and signature are included as we cannot claim the tax back from the Exchequer without this information  Thank you.
